How to use your membership

When you join you shall receive a member's SmarterCard and your preferred edition of 'Restaurant And Entertainment Voucher Book'. Simply look through and choose any venue, at time of payment - you select the voucher that will save you the most and present this with your SmarterCard, your server will then make the appropriate deduction and you pay the difference - it's that easy!

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to prebook restaurants?

There is no obligation to prebook, restaurants featured welcome walk-in customers and for peace-of-mind offer a booking for parties of 8 or more. If you are visiting a fine dining restaurant or popular gastro pub and want to be assured of a table at a time convenient to you we recommend you book ahead of your visit.

Am I required to notify the restaurant of my voucher?

There is no obligation to mention your voucher and you only need present it at time of payment. In the unlikely event, say you were unsure which was the restaurants a la carte menu you might mention you have a voucher and wanted to be sure of ordering from the correct menu.

Can I use vouchers at the weekend?

Yes, all of our venues welcome vouchers 7 days a week. A few of the very popular venues may stipulate a time when your table must be vacated for use by regular paying clientele.

Can the whole family use my vouchers?

Absolutely, all vouchers are entirely transferable. In your absence simply loan your SmarterCard with a  couple of vouchers to your friend and they too can enjoy making savings. We recommend that you don't give them your entire book and you will need to ensure they return the SmarterCard to you after use.

Can I use more than one voucher during the same visit?

You may use one voucher per visit, per party. If you have a large party simply choose the appropriate voucher.

If I join may I cancel should I change my mind?

When you join, if you aren't entirely in love with your SmarterCard for any reason simply return it unused and resalable condition within 30 days (existing members receive 14 days each and every time they renew their membership) for a full and immediate refund without fuss or quibble.
