Orb Restaurant, The

The Orb presents a well appointed fine dining restaurant serving modern British and European cuisine. Our head chef insists on using only the freshest ingredients sourced locally where possible to carefully prepare dishes cooked to order.

Our beef is Aberdeen Angus and lamb is British and we source our free range pork from Blythburgh, Suffolk with fresh fish delivered daily our menu changes regularly to reflect seasonally available ingredients that make popular dishes such as Moroccan scented chump of lamb resting on wild mushroom and mint cous cous and fillet of sea bass on spring onion mash with brown shrimp and sorrel sauce.

The Orb offers an extensive range of house wines and special reserve fine wines, champagnes and port from all around the world carefully selected for your pleasure.

The Orb Restaurant is a Draw fine Pub Co restaurant a small collection of special local gastro pubs that include the Michelin Guide recommended The Woodmans Arms in Thundersley, the trendiest pub in Billericay The Crown and the traditional country pub The Barge Inn at Battlebridge. The company is owned by David Ripo and Andy Wagstaff that combined have many years experience of operating fine pubs, hotels and restaurants and the group strives to achieve the highest standards to ensure that every client enjoys a truly rewarding experience each and every time they visit.
